THREE POINTS OF DIFFERENCE

• AFO's goal is to guarantee that 100% of all tax deductible donations go directly to our nominated projects.

• Instead of us 're-creating the wheel', the committee of AFO made a decision to support 'in country' oganisations to do what they do best; support the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children.  

• 'Ten friends' - Aussies for Orphans was formed through friendship. Ten friends with the same passion for helping children. We are now supported by another 'Ten Friends' in Sydney and another 'Ten Friends' in Northern NSW. Our goal is to expand our groups of 'Ten Friends' throughout Australia and overseas in order to maintain and increase the fabulous achievements of AFO.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

At Aussies for Orphans we believe in the old saying "Give someone a fish and they will eat for a day, teach them how to fish and they'll eat forever".

No matter what your birth place, religion or culture may be, the one thing that we all have in common is the desire to live our lives with dignity and pride.

We believe that in helping organisations become self-sufficient they can then foster the same values within the children in their care.

Our aim is to provide children with a home environment, where they can gain access to health, education and life skills. This will enable them to move onto the next phase of their lives, confident that they can provide for themselves and others.
