Project: Etosha and LJ hooker House | Photos

Location: Ballina, Far North Coast, NSW Australia

In conjuction with Etosha Homes & LJ Hooker, we are now embarking on a project of a very different kind. We are assisting in the building of homes for orphan babies in Kenya, Africa.

The sale of this fantastic house will enable Aussies for Orphans to continue to support projects for children around the world. We are currently assessing new supported accommodation projects in Cambodia and Vietnam and an additional one in Kenya, a village, home situation for small children.

Adziwa Project - Lilongwe Malawi The Adziwa Project is located at Kauma village which is situated about five kms east of the capital city Lilongwe. This area is described as a low-income, high density area but more resembles the slum areas common to all large cities in sub-Saharan Africa.

Mbagathi Farm School - Kenya funding for a building for boarding students. This new accommodation would allow them to increase the number of places they currently provided for orphaned and disadvantaged students as their current infrastructure was no longer big enough.

Nakuru Baby Orphanage - Kenya Nakuru Baby Orphanage (MIA) is situated on 10 acres on the outskirts of Nakuru, Rift Valley Province, Kenya in East Africa, 140km North West of the capital city of Nairobi.

Kesho Leo Children's Village - Arusha In January 2008 our committee member Janelle was due to fly to Nairobi to visit our current project and source assess others but her plans had to change due to the violence that resulted from the Dec 08 Kenyan elections.
