The Home provides:
care for children of single parents and orphans.
care and nurturing to children who are affected by civil war and other calamities
trauma counselling with love and security
education and vocational training
24 hour care residential homes with fulltime staff and facilities.
Short term plans: 2006-2008
increase the number of children and facilities from 50 to 100
construct new housing units
construct a road network within the project
provide training in basic English, computers, accounts and management for school leavers.
Establish:
a children's park
an auditorium and library
a water purification plant and distribution for the entire project
carpentry and tailoring training.
Long term plans to 2010
Establish facilities for 50 intellectually and physically disabled children
Develop larger playing grounds & badminton, tennis and basket ball courts with facilities
Develop training workshops: welding & motor mechanic, masonry, batik
Build a slaughter house with all utilities for piggery
Develop a dairy with automatic milking facilities
Construct a road network within the project
Enlarge the existing facilities
Enlarge the animal husbandry section - value-added products.
